GoScript Privacy Policy
This policy explains app data and this website's data separately. We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not upload your scripts or recordings to our servers.
What changed on October 28, 2026
- We clarified that diagnostics include non-crash errors and technical context.
- We added details about TakeLark referral data sent to PostHog when Product Analytics is enabled.
Voice follow uses Apple Speech. With your speech-recognition permission, audio is sent to Apple when on-device recognition is unavailable. Your saved scripts and video files are not sent for speech recognition. You can use automatic or manual scrolling instead.
Product Analytics uses your App Store region to choose its default mode. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, or while the region is unknown, it sends anonymous aggregate Studio, app-lifecycle and purchase-flow events with a random identifier for each event, without persistent person or session identifiers, person profiles, replay, or approximate-location enrichment. Elsewhere, Product Analytics is on by default and uses a persistent random identifier and approximate location. Turning Product Analytics on explicitly enables identified analytics; turning it off stops analytics and purges pending analytics. Identified analytics can link product usage and purchase status. Crash reporting has its own setting. Apple and RevenueCat still process data needed to manage purchases. We do not use advertising identifiers or an attribution SDK, and session replay is disabled.
Sentry: Diagnostics include non-crash errors and technical context.
The following referral details apply only to identified analytics. For arrivals from TakeLark, GoScript can read a referral ID from a shared keychain marker or link. When identified analytics is active (by default outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland, or after you turn Product Analytics on), GoScript sends that ID, source, placement, elapsed time and handoff method to PostHog.
For Apple Search Ads attribution, the app may process the organization, Apple’s campaign, ad group and ad (creative) identifiers, keyword, country, click date, conversion type, and attribution result returned by Apple. We do not read IDFA or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
This website uses one PostHog instance for page views and App Store clicks. Autocapture and session recording are off, storage is memory-only, and the script sets no persistent cookie. This website analytics is separate from app telemetry.
You can turn off Product Analytics and crash reports separately in Settings. Apple and RevenueCat still process data necessary for purchases. For privacy or deletion requests: privacy@sparkwellstudios.com. An anonymous event’s random identifier cannot locate your full history. Provider retention periods vary.
